Our Founder
Carl, a Certified Flight Instructor and middle school science teacher, has a passion for children reaching their full potential. As a child his father took him to the Birmingham International Airport, to watch the few commercial flights take of and land. His childhood TV hero was Sky King, who flew a twin-engine Cessna 310 called Songbird. It created within him a desire to fly, which would culminate in him obtaining his commercial license, instrument, and multi-engine ratings as an adult. His multi-engine rating was achieved in a Cessna 310, just like his childhood TV hero flew.
